Orkney Stone Age Feast - 'Orcadian Feast'

Picture
During the 2012 archaeological dig of the 'Cairns in Windwick', South Ronaldsay, archaeologists discovered significant quantities of the remains of ancient mussel shells, wild boar and red-deer bones.

This is evidence of an original Orkney diet that contributed to healthy development of Homosapien. A diet including fish, grass-fed, pasture raised meats, vegetables, fruit, fungi, roots, and nuts whilst excluding  salt, refined sugar, and processed oils.

In essence, natural foods without any factory processed content, this four-course dinner is inspired by the stone age diet.
