Place settings with everything you need to enjoy the full experience of dining in true Japanese style.
Freshly hand-made Maki-Sushi, wrapped in nori (seaweed) and Ura-Maki Sushi (inside-out sushi) rolled in roasted sesame seeds.
With a variety of tasty fillings (including dashi maki tamago) and sushi rice. Served with wasabi, shoyu (soy sauce) and gari (sweet pickled root ginger).

Westray Salmon (sake) and lightly marinated fresh Mackerel (shime-saba). Garnished with fresh lime. Served with wasabi, shoyu (soy sauce) and gari (sweet pickled root ginger. Also fresh shiso for sprinkling, grown at Eastward House (when in season).
Melt in the mouth textures with natural and uncorrupted flavours
Squid, prawn and seasonal vegetables (asparagus, shitake mushroom, long stem broccoli depicted) deep fried in a traditionally light Japanese tempura batter. Also whole shiso leaf (when in season).
Served with a shoyu and dashi based dipping sauce.
Lightly seared fresh Tuna dressed with fried garlic flakes, spring onions and ponzu sauce.
Served with leek topped with Miso sauce.
Japanese Plum Wine (umeshu) sorbet
Lightly marinated in teriyaki sauce, Orkney fillet beef.
Served on a bed of zucchini, with sticky rice, shitake mushrooms,
asparagus, and drizzled with teriyaki sauce.

This evening dinner is £59.00 per person (excluding bed and breakfast accommodation cost).
Subject to a minimum of two people.
Bed and breakfast accommodation is £45.00 to £47.50 per person, per night, with special rates for children and young adults.
Canapés are served at 7pm. This evening dinner spans more than three hours from canapés to coffees.
